Miles Underwater begins and ends in the same place.

The writers wrote it.

The producers encouraged it.

The director actualized it.

Miles Underwater takes place in one day. The messages and symbolism in the film will be interpreted for years…but, for now,  it reminds me of the ouroboros.

There are no snakes in our film; however, the symbolism of a serpent biting, devouring, or eating its own tail rings true to our film. It represents the cyclic Nature of the Universe: creation out of destruction, Life out of Death.

And like the ouroboros, Miles is  in an eternal cycle of renewal.

I’m realizing writing this, that I’ve probably jumped the blog shark about three blogs ago…but I’m tired, there are spoilers I cannot reveal and I’m starting to get sad that this journey is almost over.
